Goal-scoring ‘World Cup star’ Cho Kyu-sung (25, Mitwillan) is already attracting interest from other teams.

Italian outlet Calciolan reported on Friday (Aug. 15) that he has been linked to Italian Serie A side Genoa. “Anything is possible in soccer,” the outlet said, adding that Cho would be interested in a bigger league and Genoa could give him a chance.

“He signed a five-year contract with his club Mittwillan (Denmark) until 2028. However, the transfer fee is unlikely to be more than 5 million euros (about 7 billion won),” he said, adding, “It’s a possibility, it could happen.”온라인카지노

Jo Kyu-sung, who arrived in a Mittwilan jersey in the summer transfer window, has continued his prolific goal-scoring form on the European stage. He is currently tied for fourth in the league with four league goals. He is not far behind the top scorer (5 goals). This is a tremendous pace considering he suffered a thigh injury last month in his first season.

Even after the injury, Cho’s offense has remained potent. On his comeback, he scored a penalty kick against Legia Warsaw (Poland) in the second leg of the Europa Conference League (UECL) playoffs on April 1. He also provided an assist for teammate Ola Brynhildsen’s goal against Aarhus in the seventh round of the league on April 4.

He also scored a header against Viborg in the eighth round of the league. In the seventh minute of the second half, Cho made a split-second run to meet Paulinho’s cross from the left. The shot hit the ground once and landed precisely on the left side of the goal. Despite the 2-2 draw, soccer stats site Footmob gave Cho Kyu-sung a high rating of 7.8. It was the second-highest rating on the team.

In addition to his header, Cho had an outstanding offensive performance, taking three of the four shots on goal. He also contributed defensively, making one tackle. On the day, Denmark’s Tipsbladet wrote: “Paulinho sent in a perfect cross, which was met with the forehead of striker Cho Kyu-sung. South Korean player Cho Kyu-sung’s header gave them the lead.”

The K League 1 top scorer has only scored a multi-goal game with a header against Ghana in the second round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar last year. He also scored a header against Saudi Arabia in the A match on the 13th to give Klinsmann’s side their first win. It was Jürgen Klinsmann’s first win in six games (W1 D3 L2) since taking over in February.

As these performances continue, other teams seem to be taking notice of Cho Kyu-sung. Genoa are considered a dark horse in Serie A and are 14th in the league with a 1-2-2 record (3 points). However, the team has struggled offensively, scoring just two goals in the league this season. The only professional frontline striker on the team is Matteo Letegui. The team could use some attacking reinforcements to increase their tactical options.

South Korean striker Cho Kyu-sung left Jeonbuk Hyundai in July to join Meetwillan. He signed a five-year contract until 2028. The transfer fee was reportedly £2.6 million.
